Take 10 minutes, Help out OpenGUI |

In case you haven't yet heard, OpenGUI is running a short survey to help gather information from the game programming population on what they would most like to see in a GUI system. We believe we're off to a great start, but there is always room for improvement. Hopefully an anonymous survey will help people express what they truly look for in a GUI system. Click to take the survey!
Update: The survey is now closed. Thank you everyone who participated. Your responses will be considered heavily in the future changes to OpenGUI. |

This new release of OpenGUI is part service release, part new feature release. The previous packaged release (0.7.5) had some bugs in the OgreFusion module, which would cause issues when using any build of Ogre that had OgreMemoryManager enabled. Unfortunately, that included the official Ogre SDK releases. This glaring issue has been fixed in this new release. As for the new features, well they are quite numerous. The changelog is attached to the body of this post if you'd like to take a sneak peek at just what changed since the last release.

6 month SourceForge Anniversary |
|
Friday, 25 August 2006 |
Six months ago today, OpenGUI officially transferred to the SVN hosting service provided by SourceForge. Despite being one of the first users of their public SVN service, we've experienced no down time, and no data loss. Special thanks to the guys and gals at SourceForge for keeping our code repository safe. |
